Biography


  Charles Wm. Foster is Founder and President of the Public Accounting, Tax, and Financial Planning Services firm of Charles Wm. Foster & Associates, Ltd. The firm was founded in 1986.

Mr. Foster holds a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a master's degree in taxation from DePaul University in Chicago . He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois C.P.A. Society.

Before starting his firm, Mr. Foster spent eleven years with Price Waterhouse in Chicago (through 1985). He has been involved in a number of different areas of taxation and financial planning for executives as well as corporations and partnerships. During his last three years at Price Waterhouse, he was a senior manager and the Director of Executive Financial Services in Chicago , Illinois .

Mr. Foster is a frequent speaker and author on financial planning and United States tax issues, including strategic asset allocation, tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals, executive compensation strategies and representation before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also involved in expatriate tax planning matters and representation of his clientele before the International Office of the Internal Revenue Service concerning executives and commodities traders in the United Kingdom , Switzerland , France and other foreign countries. Mr. Foster has appeared on various television programs to discuss estate planning as well as strategic asset allocation.
