Biography


Fr. Albert Tremari, SJC is a Roman Catholic priest and a professed member of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius located in Chicago, Il. This society was founded in 1998 as a religious community of priests and brothers dedicated to promoting the Restoration of the Sacred (Instauare Sacra). The work of this community strives to assist its parishioners, and the general public to rediscover and restore the sense of the sacred in ones spiritual life being lived personally and in the world.

This charism is manifested through its work providing ministries and related programs associated with sacred liturgies, catechesis, music, art, Latin, Greek, and adult education rooted in the heritage and traditions of the Church.  This includes working with other organizations that similarly promote a culture of life based upon a moral sense of what is true, beautiful and good.  The various forms of media in social communications exercise a profound role in providing information and programs that influence the formation of culture in society. The media as such becomes a force for promoting this moral sense. It is in this context the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius utilizes the media in promoting the work of this religious community as well as in working with other organizations that similarly promote the culture of life.
 
Prior to becoming a priest, Fr. Albert Tremari, was a vice president for a national consulting engineering and design-build firm responsible for related engineering and business development activities in the Chicago and the Midwest area.  Professional services were provided on various projects associated with commercial, industrial, food-processing, medical, educational and governmental type of facilities.
 
He presently is an Associate Pastor and Administrator for the parish of St. John Cantius located in Chicago, Il.
