New Ethos Jury

New Ethos Jury Association (NEJA)

The New Ethos Jury Association brings a distinct market benefit to the entertainment industry and a sense of confidence to the consumer.  The Logo will embody a reputation of prestige and trust.  The Logo adds weight to the product's quality and marketability and gives the Catholic consumer a sense of confidence in the product's fidelity to principles of Catholic morality and doctrine.

Each New Ethos Juror is chosen to be part of the New Ethos Juror Association for their expertise in either the entertainment industry or principles of the Catholic faith.  New Ethos Jurors are chosen because they are especially respected and note worthy with their peers (The Church and Entertainment Industry) and the public at large.

New Ethos will take care to ensure that the NEJA for each entertainment media are comprised of “persons who are familiar with the technique of motion picture (or other applicable entertainment media such as Television, videogames, music, fashion) and at the same time, well grounded in principles of Catholic morality and doctrine.” [Vigilanti Cura (1936) – Films in Parish Halls].

The New Ethos Juror Association (NEJA) is comprised of:
  • Core Members called the New Ethos Jury Committee who maintain, develop, and help to expand Jury Association (NEJC).
  • General “pool” of Jurors in the Jury Association (Not necessarily need be Catholic).
  • Guest and Expert Jurors (Not necessarily need be Catholic).
Each entertainment media will have its own NEJA and each particular product to be reviewed will have its own Particular Jury (NEPJ)appointed from the Jury "pool" and beyond by the NEJC.  The New Ethos Jury Committee “customizes” its particular juries for each media product to be reviewed based on its particular theme and genre.

Though members of the NEJA may "leak" out, New Ethos will keep anonymous those individuals who make up the NEJCs and especially the NEPJ for each product review.
