How can anyone doubt the great contribution they make to our culture in bringing harmony where there is chaos, truth where there is confusion, comfort where there is pain, joy where there is sorrow, and hope where there is despair.There is at least one big thing common in a "new ethos" artist; The substance and character of a song's lyrics and of the artist who created it. New Ethos would like to honor those songs and their artists that contribute to a "new ethos" in entertainment. We will honor them with our New Ethos award of "Excellence" and also showcase those artists not given an award (at least not yet) but have something to contribute to a "new ethos" in the music industry ["Current Music Pulse" - below]. What particularly catches our attention for a "New Ethos" artists are those artists who are able to create music of truth, beauty, and goodness and that can appeal to diverse peoples.
